Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

DrPhilG, how long has Jones been with you - SERIOUSLY settled in looking!
I LOVE the pic of the JRT lying on top of the Rottie.

Jones has been here about 6 weeks. Has gone from passionately hating the dogs, to tolerance, to acceptance.

At some point I hope to post a pic of both cat and JR sleeping on the Rottie!

After weeks of rain and cabin fever, we finally got out and about today (after vaccination wait) with the boys!!! Jack didn't know what to sniff, eat or discover first...

It depends on where we are going. We don't have it too long so we're still doing it with very light things like a spare towel each or an empty water bowl. For shorter walks he's come to the butcher with us to carry home his own dinner. :)

Next weekend we are planning to climb lug, he'll be carrying some sambos and a snack for him and his brother.

    Hooked, two beautiful dogs!
I dont imagine you will get many uninterrupted walks with people wanting to talk to the boys!
The black & white photos are really impressive/suited to their colouring

Hooked are they front point harnesses?
They look really comfy for the dogs.

Nope. Regular Trixie padded harnesses. Think jacks was 7.99 (STG) on amazon.

Comfy out! Jack was reluctant to put his on the last 7-10 days (introducing it to him a bit at a time in the house) but after yesterday in UL... He threw his head straight in this morning, and ran to the front door, sat and waited.

I swear he's been here before!

Cheers aonb. A bit hard to take a bad photo, such is their breeding/attractiveness. We are soooooo grateful to the boys' breeder.

Whatever about how good they look... They behave even better. Now, we've put in a very tough month (with the weather, alarms during the night for toilet training, intro to Hugo bit by bit) but... Jack is a dream to train and own.

Roll on next weekend and a spin to the beach!

    Theyre beautiful dogs.

Ill have to get pics up of my Newfie.
But being a newfie all you get in pics is a big brown blob of fur usually asleep.

Ive never met lazier dogs in my life.

Here's a few of my little dude growing up. My nephew found him wandering around a local sports complex. My mother rang me that evening and said she was trying to find a new home for a little pup. Within the hour he was asleep on my couch.

Hooked, I need to start hanging out by UL more to meet your doggies, they are stunners!

Thirdman, fab dogs, beautiful eyes on both of them.

I think if it was solely down to me I'd have a houseful of rescue dogs, although hubbie has said the 2 we have is enough:D

I did think about it for a good while, like have I lost the plot or not... and you know in the end I'm really glad I did, they werent too expensive €100 if memory serves me correctly, we were there like 2 hours, and she gave me 30 different ones in total, and emailed me over copies too .....all showing his personality etc... I didnt want to post anyomre up just in case posters thought I was loco or something.

and yes all my mates did slag me (as did most of my family) but im really glad i did it :pac:.. crazy or not I'll have them for life :D

Michelle's photos are out of this world. She was the reason I started taking photos in the pound a few years ago as I was blown away with how she was able to capture the spirit of every dog in there,no matter how scared or shy.
