Unclebill98, lovely pictures - they are all obviously totally chilled :) and traumatized by that vacuum cleaner too!!!

Juice1304, beautiful dogs - is the last picture/painting computer generated?
    ?

No it is an oil painting my grandmother had done by an artist she had met on grafton street, she saw him doing portraits and asked would he do something custom for here. He agreed and eight weeks later it was ready. it is the best painting i have ever seen. It is like a carbon copy of the two dogs.

Like you wouldn't believe. Big, smart and so much fun. Called into our local maxi zoo today after a stint in UL... Hugo got vocal (as always) with Vicky (staff), and Jack decided to join in. Turned into a full blown deafening HHHOOOOWWWWLLLLLLLLLLL-fest!

    The noise!

Hugo is a lean 27.5 kg on the scales. And Jack, at 14 weeks - is 12.2 kilos. A tank. A great grubber thank God. I'd rather be taking weight off a dog than trying to put it on.

Hooked is that the maxizoo out on the ballysimon rd? If so I'll have to start going there more often in hope of catching a glimpse of those 2 handsome fellas :D

Sure is SillyMangoX! We try an get in every weekend or every second weekend... Hugo loves all the attention. The staff are ALL great. Proper customer service. And plenty of socialising for the 2 furry ones.

Dont think Ive seen a greyhound with a BROWN nose before!?
    Lovely pair

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,318 ✭✭✭Vel

Hi aonb. Yep, she has very rare colouring for a greyhound. It is referred to as dun and only occurs once in every 1500 to 2000 litters. One of her littermates was completely dun in colour with the pink nose and looked quite odd to my eyes! It took me a while to get used to our girl's colouring but now I love it. Apparently the dun dogs make rubbish racers! I've actually just come across another dun and white girl looking for a home in Northern Ireland
