Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Big beggy Lab eyes in the first two, but pic 3 shows her Springer - ready for action back legs and her front right is ready to guard her ball. She's gorgeous.

Shade has been settling in nicely. She now very much rules the roost. She's really hard to get a good photo of though!!!

What a beauty!! My black cat always lies in the funniest cutest positions! But when I take a pic it's just a black cat outline with eyes and I'm like "dammit"!

Don't know if this is allowed.

    Half a Minute long

But this is a clip of two of my Westies (Colleen & Saly)who are now on the Rainbow Bridge.

It was taken on 10th August 2005 on Brittas Bay.

Look at Colleen's reaction when she finds something unexpected on the Beach :D

=(:-) Me? I know who I am. I'm a dude playing a dude disguised as another dude (-:)=

Viper, you should probably take your hound to the vets to get that cat shaped growth removed from his head :D:D:D

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 14,241 ✭✭✭✭Kovu

Yup! Daisy the dorky cat. He hasn't forgiven me yet....
But he did keep me up half the night crashing around the sitting room so I'm not feeling sorry for him today. He's also devoured four tins of that Gourmet cat food which is bloody expensive. :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,553 ✭✭✭mymo

Have you tried those blow up collars?
Might be quieter at night, or possibly an item of clothing that covers the area?
(Having cats myself I realise the risk of injury trying to put clothing on a cat :p )

Tried a homemade one, he clawed it until it burst. Then tried bandaging his legs, using special bandages from the maternity unit, they're the ones they use on newborns hands to stop them scratching their face. They stick really well, sort of like surgical bandages but softer.

And he went crazy. Was walking around like John Wayne before he figured out that he could rub against the wall and take them off.
    Stupid smart cat.

A little update on Dolly since its been quite a while.

As of june, she has become a Grand Champion with Ireland's Pit Bull Terrier Association.

To Gain her title she achieved 'Best of breed' in the show ring and a further 4 athletics titles (speed pull, long jump, high jump & A-frame).

Next year we hope to repeat the same and achieve her 'Champion of champions' title.

Not bad for a dog that was thrown out, after being bred from on her first heat. **proud dad emoticon**

12 weeks old and a complete sweetheart
God love him he's so small I had to put an argos catalogue outside his crate so he could get in and out

Almost two weeks in the cone now. He sulks next to my armchair here. Have to say he's gotten very clever with it. Seen him clear a fence between the second and third rail yesterday. When he's let out it's like trying to mind a kid thats had ten red bulls and a share bag of skittles. Take your eyes off him, he goes VROOOOOM and he's missing. :pac: thats also his leg half healed a week in!! So don't be eating when you open them.

This is Freya, an unplanned addition to our family who found us while we were out walking with our other dog on Valentine's day. She spent a month in the local animal shelter because we felt sure someone would be looking for her and we didn't want to get attached to this woolly monster...
