ok, i've reinstated this thread and merged posts from the other thread too.

AirsoftEire: the reason the thread was deleted at first is because it was reported by users of the forum, advertising is strictly forbidden on boards, however we allow each retailer to have a single thread in which they can communicate with users. This is done by pm'ing one of the mods (myself or o1s1n) and then we will post the announcement

bullets: If a thread is deleted, it is done so for a reason, do not assume it is ok to go ahead and post another thread asking where did it go, if you wish to know, pm a mod

Boston: you shouldnt repost deleted threads either ;)

now that im done giving out :p

AirsoftEire: best of luck with the store, need sleep right now, but ill browse around tomorrow and see what you've got in stock :)

Was not trying to cause any trouble.

I was in the middle of editing a reply at the time. The thread just disappeared
without warning and I got a board error. I thought it was a problem with
the boards rather than a mod or smod deleting it.

On other boards when something inappropriate is posted I have seen the mods delete or blank out the contents/text from the OP and lock it so ordinary users can still see the thread title or an edited version of the thread title. I assumed (wrongly) that if there was a problem with the thread that
    what would have happened.

Great to see the site, i'm not into airsoft but into the real deal, seems airsoft is pretty expensive (prices are up there with the price of real guns!)

EDIT: But really after looking through the site those guns are impressive!! :) I'd pay that price for them no problem!! Seemed too expensive at first but my god they have some detail!!

Still, great to see a new sport enter Ireland or should I say, a new sport that is easy for the irish to enter into!! :)

Ohh, its the KSC. Danny wants the TM Haardkick. Any chance of stocking that?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 769 ✭✭✭AirsoftEire.com

The TM hardkick Desert Eagle was actually supposed to in our initial order, but alas was out of stock. It will certainly be on our next order.

Sorry Lightning, i'm pretty sure Paypal doesn't accept Laser cards.

sorry but WTF?? his site has a good layout that serves it's purpose very well, it may not have any flashy graphics, but so bloody what? its a site to sell products on, does exactly what it should do and anything extra would only get in the way of that purpose, if your gonna criticise something, be constructive about it

no worries man, unfortunately editing a post and removing the contents leaves no way of actually retrieving the original, hence why one of the smods just deleted it temporarily

Yup, however having said that you do need an IT background to get it running. The software package that i'm using on the server is by no means what it looks like when it's unpacked. A lot of coding also has to go into getting it to look how you want.

We'll notify you all when we get the gas in, its coming by surface mail unfortunately. However we plan to have another order of gas in this week. :)

i just have to say, even as im a newb to airsoft, but congrats on being the ONLY airsoft site ive come across that gives LARGE SIZE photos of the guns. Every other site ive been to, when you click the thumbnail of the gun you want to look at, it9 times out of 10 gives you the same tiny preview! Its nice to be able to see what youre buying..mmmmm...deagle :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 769 ✭✭✭AirsoftEire.com

Thanks Oubliette, I know exactly what you mean, I know this myself all too well. It's pretty simple though, people want to see what they're buying, why not show them?

We're also going to add more pictures showing the finer detail of many models.

Gatling, the USMC bunch-type sling is not a 3 point sling as such, it has one spring clip for attaching to a sling hoop on a rifle and the rest is adjustable straping, with the bunch elastic as part of the straping.

It seems to be either a single point or dual point sling.

I'll try and get a picture up for you later on today.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,291 ✭✭✭✭Gatling

that great just what i was hoping ,il order one during the the week ,

When you sign up there is no field for county. whats with that?

I just tried to order a sling and I can't select a shipping method, help me!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 769 ✭✭✭AirsoftEire.com

    Hi Crave.
You can enter the county in any of the address fields.

Are you using a Mac machine? The shipping algorithm doesn't seem to work with Macs for some reason. Shipping for a sling is €5. :)

  • Registered Users Posts: 519 ✭✭✭Crave

No i'm on a pc, and it's not working. Could it be an IE problem, What version was the site designed for? I wanna order 2 slings can I do it any other way?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,656 ✭✭✭deepimpact

    hi airsofteire,
    Nice website :)
Would it be possible to collect an order from you directly?
    Thanks

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,341 ✭✭✭Fallschirmjager

i use those usmc slings and they are the dogs dangler...dont attach them to your crane stock , attach them to the metal ring...much better IMHO the the 3 point sling, although not as flexible, e.g. over the back, behind you etc...

  • Registered Users Posts: 519 ✭✭✭Crave

I have tried to order on 4 different pc's, can you please fix the problem with not being able to select a shipping method, Thanks

    Hi Scanlant.
Unfortunately, we do not accept collections at this time, we simply aren't catered for cash sales yet, let alone have a retail section suitable for customers.

We understand people live quite nearby, but at this moment in time we can only accept orders through the site.

Crave, you have a PM :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 769 ✭✭✭AirsoftEire.com

I hope so too, we seem to have a pile of sales lined up and they're very much dependant on gas! We'll let you all know.

  • Registered Users Posts: 519 ✭✭✭Crave

How many zero's should I fill in for post code when I don't have one?

    Edit: I fixed it!!!!!!!!!!! :D
What you have to do is have 6 digits for your post code for a shipping method to appear, may be five but I used 6!
AirsoftEire I would suggest you change this or put some error checking into the code,
    thanks for trying to help

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 769 ✭✭✭AirsoftEire.com

I'm glad you got your order made Crave.

However having 5 or 6 digits isn't what makes the shipping work, virtually all of our orders have zip codes that are only 2 or 3 digits long. Thanks for pointing us in the right direction though. We'll have it working flawlessly tomorrow.

I've sent you another PM. :)

Just wondering what your shipping costs would be before I place an order for a CA M15A2, TLP charger, an 8.4V mini battery and 8.4V large battery?
(It's 417 euro worth of an order so my credit card says :eek::eek:) ;)

Thanks guys, and good luck with the business.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 769 ✭✭✭AirsoftEire.com

    Hi Scanlant.

Shipping for those items is €18, you can see that yourself if you create an account and proceed to the step before payment.

However the M15A2 is one of few items we are out of stock of, orders are flying in at the moment.
We do however have the M15A4 tactical carbine in stock, and differs only in that it has a full stock. This can be replaced with a crane stock is ever you wanted to change it.

Shipping for that is the same. :)

By the way everyone, you can now enter any value in the zip code field and the correct shipping will still be displayed.

Ah feck, when will ye be getting them back in?
I'm really after an M15A2 so I can get as close as I can to this
(btw I know it's not RIS and I won't need the bipod either ;))

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 769 ✭✭✭AirsoftEire.com

It could be at least 2-3 weeks i'm afraid.

But i'm not sure I follow, the rifle in the picture has a full stock, just like the M15A4?
The carry handle also detaches to reveal a top rail, just like the one in the picture.

Otherwise, might I suggest the TM M4A1 RIS, which has RIS rails along the sides of the foregrip, and also has a removable carry handle for attachment of a scope. Once again, just like in the picture. :)

I'm looking for a more M16 type sniper derivative that's non-RIS and a fixed top rail and that's not an M4 derivative, but thanks anyway.
Actually, if I was to order the TLP charger and an 8.4V mini battery (for my TM MP5) what would be the postage costs?

Oh, I'll be paying by Paypal, but the address that's listed is my home address (Clare) and I won't be home for a few weeks at least, so could you ship it to my term address in Dublin?
