    Wheaten I would say

Looks like he / she is chained and in an odd place. Is the dog ok? Maybe it is just the photo but I can't see a bed or water all I can see is the lovely dog on a chain

    Here is the photo again

    Could be anything really ...

Depending on size it could be

some sort of Tibetan Terrier mix

    Wheaten Terrier / mix

Labradoodle or any other "oodle" mix

    or even something like this

whatever it is ...it looks like wants and needs out of there

Thats what i was thinking alright, i must keep an eye out for one like it, my girlfriend is mad to get one. Thanks.

btw the dog in the pic is fine and well looked after, the pic was taken at a bad angle.

The bearded collie mix gets banded about quite a lot for anything remotely shaggy.

I'm not so sure it is one though. Beardies have long, straight hair. It may clump, but it never curls. Even when shorn and growing back, the hair is always straight, not curly. At least with ours it's that way.

Dunno, if a mix with something else would introduce curls

BTW ..there always were traditional, non-breed working sheepdogs around that were shaggy / curly. Not every mix must necessarily be of two pedigrees

    This is the pic

Best thing to do is upload it to flickr or photobucket and then embed it in your post using the IMG tags :)

In my opinion this is still a very young dog. I would hazard a guess that it is either an Old English Sheepdog, or a mixture of an old english sheepdog and a poodle (on account of the coat colour (pale) and tail, possibly). It is hard to tell exactly because I cant see a full picture to see if it has colour patches.

~But it has not been groomed recently, and it is chained up:(. I really hope its being loved and cared-for.

I found a pic on google of a pure-bred OESD that looks very like that dog, apart from the colouring.

    or this Old English Sheepdog
