Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I need to find a black cape for my Halloween costume but I don't have a clue where to look. Can anyone recommend some good places to try?

    Cheers.

Ace one stop party shop in clondalkin - I have gone there every year to get a Halloween costume
    http://www.aceonestoppartyshop.com/
They sell costumes aswell as hiring them out, and they have all the accessories you would need for Halloween - I would imagine they have capes also.

    Good luck

Would Hickey's be a good place to find a long black cape?

No it would be a really good place to get a bit of black fabric that you can tie around your neck! Probably the best option at this stage as everything is selling out!

To be honest a cape is probably the most basic halloween item, try The Card Gallery in Dundrum, Smyths toyshop, Fun Palace beside the Gaiety...pretty much anywhere that does any kind of halloween stuff.

I want a good cape though. I'm dressing up as Zorro you see so one of those plastic capes is not of much use to me.

I'm also desperate to find a bandana but I can't think of where I'd get one of those. Typical of me to leave things so late!

Again, Hickeys is your best friend. A bandana is just a strip of black cloth with eye holes cut out...you can make that!! Same with the cape its no big deal ask the ladies in Hickeys for tips on how you can make it.
