    Going back one step further, fear of a centralised network being destroed in a war developed the TCP / IP protocol which doesn't need a centralised network - hence the internet.

    We can abstract out, and if I can use -> to mean causes or results in, we have

    War -> Technology innovation ... eq 1

    Now if you are one of those people who think, Religion causes War (or some War)

    Religion -> War ... eq 2
    and
    Less Religion -> less War ... eq 3

    and if you think the more scientific / technical a society is the less religious they will be you get:

    More technology causes -> Less Religion ... eq 4

    Ok so this (eq2 and eq1) means
    Religion -> War -> More technology ... eq 5

    but (eq4. and eq3) mean

    More technology -> Less Religion -> War ... eq 6

    So we end reaching a steady state equilibrium between eq 5 and eq 6.

    This is called Winism Equilibrium.

    Based on a two factor system then it might make some kind of rational sence, but since wars and technology are not driven solely by religion or any other single factor this equation is nonsense. A logical nonsense, but a nonsense nonetheless.

    It also doesnt make a single mention of spaghetti, linguine, penne, fusili, conchigle or any other durum wheat manifestations of a supreme being.

    Ye bloody pastafarians make me sick. I'm a member of the church of John Frume and when he returns in his plane ye will all know the true church. I nearly have the runway made and I am working on the control tower now all I need to finish it of is a couple of finished loo rolls. Keep an eye to the sky my brother frumians.
