is there any way of finding out the placement of constellations on a specific night? like, a website or somesuch. i thought i would ask here as google is being NO help and boards is always helpful...and i thought this board was the most relevant to my question :) (ive read the charter and feel that this topic fits...but if…

You could use stellarium tied to your coordinates to locate the various star/constellations.
