Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Coventry v West Ham, R4, 19:45

    Wednesday, 31 October 2007

    Bolton v Man City, R4, 20:00
    Chelsea v Leicester, R4, 19:45
    Liverpool v Cardiff, R4, 20:00
    Luton v Everton, R4, 19:45
    Portsmouth v Blackburn, R4, 19:45
    Sheff Utd v Arsenal, R4, 19:45
    Tottenham v Blackpool, R4, 20:00

    So any thoughts?

City need a big performance here after Saturday's poor showing and we'll be aided by the apparent absence of The Elk who is injured. Isaksson might make his return in nets and hopefully Bianchi gets a deserved start.

Plenty, but none about this tin-pot trophy.

Bit harsh. Well I'd gladly take a trip to Wembley to win it.

Were you of a similar opinion when Shels were in the League Cup final here last year?

    I don't think it's harsh at all.

It's the Last 16 of a competition involving all 92 League Clubs.

Coventry, Leicester, Cardiff, Luton, Sheffield United, Blackpool and Man City are still in it.

    It's tin pot.

    Yes.

In fact the LoI LC is even more tin-pottier because makey up teams like Kerry League enter.

Nice of you to include us in that list. 6 of the Premierships top 7 are in it so not really that meaningless.

I gathered that. Though it's nice to be included in the same sentence as the club that harbours the great Wesley Houlihan :)

    Get a room you two.

I'm looking forward to this, it's always fun to see the Arsenal second string in action. Another run out for Bendtner, Walcott, Traore, Denilson, Diaby and co.
