COD4: Modern Warfare

Brilliant game. Loved Ghillies in the Mist. Even the end of it was brilliant (although i kinda hid behind the bumper cars for ages). Did anyone else not kill the dogs in the swimming pool just before that bit? The 4 dogs attack the enemy troops if you didnt.

Also, whats the deal with the

Epilogue? Is it just thrown in there for the fun (which it really is), or is there a point to it? 1st level from the eventual expansion?

I thought the end of Ghillies was great.. i also hid behind the cars and just ran for it. I think its the best level iv played in a game since the casino levels in rb6vegas.
when i was walking past the dogs in the pool i had a feeling i had best leae to there dinner and just walked past.The last bit at the wheel was stellar!

Is it me or is there no Online Achievments in COD4:MW? This is a great idea if its the case..nothing worse then idiots trying to get 4 kills etc in Halo3 while your trying to play lone wolf and the like.

Yep no online achievements. Thats one of the most annoying things about Halo3 when you get people joining up to get "achievements".

I wish I was good on-line at these games. I love the more realistic fps games, your R6 Vegas and your CoD modern warfare but I am not very good at gaming in general. look at my puny gamerscore

I need help please. Everytime I try to go online with COD4 for the past two hours i keeo getting the notice "You must have an active network connection to play online or in system link matches"!! It was working fine earlier. Done a test connection on the xbox and everything is fine.
Anyone help me:(:(

It's down at the moment, Micrososft don't know when it will be back up but hope to fix it by tomorrow.

First day going online, got 4 games in then it went mental on me...

Im having withdrawal symptoms without COD4 online today!

I came on and had 1 game, a perfect 13 kill 0 death game. OWNAGE SPREE! which tbh, i have never done on any game before.

But after that i havent been able to connect since.

I hope to god its back before tomorrow.

Just got it now the last thing I did was Mile High Club on vet, I swear this level makes the end of Ghillies in the mist like pre school.

Host Advantage is ridiculously bad, especially when everyone else gets connection interrupted every 30 secs :mad:

I've had a few disconnections due to the host quiting as well. The beta simply switched hosts when that happened.

Have people had much luck on games bigger then 12 players? I tried a few 16 player games last night and despite the connection showing 3 green bars it had too much lag to enjoy.
