NTL Broadband

I'm just wondering if anyone out around the Salthill area has broadband with NTL and if so, how they'd rate it. I've heard it can be pretty prone to breakdown and that their customer service people are less than clued in with regards to solving problems. I've had Smart Telecom broadband for the past year or so and it's fine (city centre). Also pretty cheap compared to the competition - or was when I signed up anyway.

NTL irritate with their constant junk mail, and I wouldn't go with them because I don't have a television and they don't offer broadband only afaik.

Anyone know if they can ntl block file hosting sites or p2p programs?

itt used to be grand but I ca access Z-share for the past month and my p2p wont connect.

can they do this?
