Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Xbox Live points region coded?

    Did a search and couldn't find this - Can anyone tell me if Xbox Live Points are region coded? Can I buy from the US on Ebay and use them for everything in "Marketplace" and Live Arcade or should I stick to Irish/UK sellers?

    Do many people here actually use them?

    Where have ye found them cheapest? Going through Ebay getting them from US looks to be most points per Euro so far... :confused:

    Just wanted to check before buying!

    they are definately region protected. You cant get points from US and use them here. I tried already, mate emailed back the code from America but wouldnt work, so he sold them back over there and they worked fine then on an American 360. Xbox live isnt regionalised, but the points are.

    Do you know the way you can change your country to get on other servers, not sure exactly how but people do it to get demos that are out in US and so on, maybe if you do this first the points may work. I think you sign into windows live on pc and amend profile maybe. Someone else here will definitely know.

    MS are stopping people from downloading items from the US marketplace, in particular the HD movies.
