Web browser can't see anything once using bit torrent

    Hi,

    I was using bit torrent fine with my old PC and aolyk modem with Smart when I got a new PC. After I made the IP address static and added port forwarding I could get the torrents to work again. Once this is done however I can no longer use my web browser. I have to restart the PC to use the browser again. There must be some kind of setting I am missing anybody any ideas? Using Utorrent and have vista.

    have you put a limit on upstream bandwidth on your BT client?

    BT is a bandwidth hog, and will max out your upstream connection making it impossible to do anything else while it is running - limit it to 50% or less of your upstream capacity.

    Make sure you have the info for the DNS servers entered correctly.
