Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

facial hair + bleaching

I have a bit of an embarrassing problem. I have very fair skin, and all the hairs on my body and face are very fine, light ... not a problem.

My particular problem is different. Like I said, I am fair skinned, and have a number of very dark freckles (possibly moles) on my face. When I was about ten I noticed that some of them had a hair growing out of them, and then people at school noticed and I was really badly teased about it.

So I did what seemed sensible at the time. I trimmed them. And have continued to do so since, so now they are really thick and black if I let them grow! So my question is - is there a better way of getting rid of them or making them less noticeable?

I wanted to try the facial hair bleach you can get but am afraid this may not be good for moles / skin / other fair hairs on my face. Would it make them darker? And electrolysis - again possibly not good for moles?

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I've noticed other girls have the same thing but I guess they never started cutting them so they didnt get as bad as mine.

Have you looked into laser hair removal?

I have a similar issue dark hair and pale skin. I tried laser hair removal in a beauty salon but found that it wasn't strong enough. So my GP referred me to the laser clinic in St. James' Hospital. I have to say that the results have been amazing!

Yeah if the hair is dark I would look into laser - have you considered that?

As the hair is growing out of moles it's difficult to give advice as I'm not sure if you can use bleach etc on them.
