    just wonerring if anyone knows of any decent coarse fishing stretches on either of thers rivers?

    the boyne is all club water as far as i know, it would have to be okd by the clubs first

    Plenty of good fishing to be had on the Blackwater still, although sadly lot has been taken by Salmon & Trout clubs who won't allow coarse fishing.

    Cappoquin consistantly fishes well - best swims down from the old Bacon factory producing good Roach & Dace.

    Further across - Fermoy main stretch ing the town center is ok - Jones's Field is excellent at the moment (albeit a long walk) & sadly the best of the bunch, the Hospital stretch in Fermoy is under dispute, so no fishing there at the moment.

    Keep an eye on the South Munster Course Angling Site SMCAC http://homepage.eircom.net/~exfish/ as they often have updates
