Pumping Insulin - Clinics treat u like an adult?

I'm new to this forum and did a couple of posts yesterday which I can't find! I've been pumping for a couple of years and although I've returned to Dublin after 20 years in UK still haven't signed up with a Pumping Clinic yet. Mater Hospital and Beaumont have come up as suggestions but I gather from your posts that one is treated like a child who has to come in with a full diabetic diary and get marks out of ten. Are there any enlightened consultants/clinics who treat you like a responsible adult? I can remember the Mater Hospital clinic of over 20 years ago where I was treated like a child - surely I've grown up since then?!? Any advice or suggestions appreciated. Thanks!
