Salted Peanuts

Nothing like a bowl of 'salted nuts' with a few beers - in fact they are quite addictive - it's impossible to stop yourself from nibbling. I'm not a big fan of roasted nuts but I will pick away at them if they are in front of me.

So, I reckon the BGRH brotherhood are the most reliable in identifying the best salted peanut........

    Which brand do you prefer?

I prefer Manhattan - more salt a bit more oily.

    KP

I wouldn't eat from bowls on the counter though. You never know who has been at them earlier.

After a few pints you won't be too concerned! But seriously, packets all the way in a boozer, but I tend to pour the 200g pack into a bowl when I'm at home!

Jeez, I thought that Manhattan would come out tops, those KPs aren't salty enough, imo. Have I got my peanut preferences all wrong...............?

    Early days yet...........

Not tip them, cos all the nuts sink to the bottom. Separate handfulls into mouth. Unbelievable!

The M&S roasted and salted pistachio nuts are excellent. But I'm too lazy to open the husks/shells/whatever so I just buy salted peanuts :D

Tesco own brand salted peanuts 49cent for a 200g bag they are probably manhattan nuts rebagged.
