Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Come on lads keep it up!

    Arsenal, heads down please :D

Anderson playing really well. Hargreaves doin what he's meant to do! He's even gotten himself booked, Scholes will be proud :D Silly of Evra to get booked like that.

Rooney dropping back alot... He was at left full at one point, trying to stop Adebayor!

Ronaldo hasn't been doing alot, but a great delivery, and Rooney gets ahead of the marker, lovely stuff.

    Definite OG though :D

The only flaw on that 1st half performance from Anderson was him waving the imaginary card :( Other than that he has been CLASS.

You`re on the verge of trolling threads. You dont rate him,we get the picture.

Anyway, really impressed with Andersons play and have been warming to him over the last few weeks but lets hope the card waving and rolling around will be short lived.I hate to see it.

I'm sat watching the minute by minute text reports of the game on the bbc website (I'm in the US today & can't get the game on TV). The first time they mentioned Tevez's name was to report his substitution. I didn't even know he was playing!

What was Almunia doing going out there with a player already on the way out? He's been watching Reina videos by the look of it. Mug.

yeh i was watching that and thinking if that was Reina, Andy Gray would have torn him apart...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,247 ✭✭✭✭Guy:Incognito

Jesus, if that had went in Evera should've had his legs cut off. Theres no excuse for that sort of rubbish, you dont need to have a good eright foot to hoof a ball out of the box. terrible.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,604 ✭✭✭herbieflowers

Great movmenet from Evra for the goal, great pass from Saha although Almunia? Why? Arsenal had men in the box to go to Evra, by charging out he just made his goal really really vulnerable...

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

    hahahahahaha! ;)

Gallas 2-2 that must be it.

Is VDS actually argueing that goal with the ref? It was further over the line than the one against SPurs a couple of years back.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 27,857 ✭✭✭✭Dave!

Well my heart has stopped... a blood intense game.

I'll settle for the 1 point.

Another plus is Ronaldo got an assist and a goal, and Fabregas got a goal... yay... (FF)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,604 ✭✭✭herbieflowers

Fair result, not too many clear-cut chances, Arsenal looked delighted with the result - probably the adrenaline after just scoring...happy with that though, point away from home!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,430 ✭✭✭Sizzler

A superb call by the linesman, I dont think even the players realised it crossed the line as nobody seemed to appeal

A throwaway by Utd tho  Regardless of deserved or not to lose a sloppy goal like that in injury time is criminal.

Better result than last season anyway :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,432 ✭✭✭✭Rikand

    Draw, fair result! :)

Hopefully Blackburn can do the same with Liverpool this evening :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,617 ✭✭✭✭PHB

Draw, fair result. Shocking defending from United. Hargreaves did great in containing Fabregas, but United's defending overall as shocking. Why the **** Rio was playing Abedyour onside for the first goal is beyond me. Both goals from Arsenal could easily have been dealt with.
Great spot by the linesman though, really didn't even notice it had gone in.

So considering Ronaldo got an assist and a goal against Arsenal, will people take this as an example of him doing it against the big teams?

To be fair he was annonymous for most of the game.

He needed to score at least a hat trick to prove his worth to me ;)

Ronaldo hasnt been credited with an assist. Rooney has

And then got a goal and an assist. He also put in that beautiful ball which Giggs fluffed. He didn't play that amazing, but he's a winger in a game where he was doubled marked, against Arsenal, and he got a goal and an assist. What more could you want.

p.s. aside from that though, Clichy really impressed me today. He did very well in containing him .
