    Want to sell a 07 passat 1.9 comfortline in Jan with approx 20000 miles. Original cost was around €34000. In good condition never crashed etc. How much should i be looking for

    Nearly 6500 seems alot to lose in a year does it not. What about all this talk about VW holding there value

    they're going on CBG.ie for 29k->32K (approx)

    buying a new car and selling it after a year is an expensive thing to do unfortunately.

    Yep a new car depreciates the most in it's first year. You are also competing against ex hire 07 models on dealer forecourts. So if you want to sell it quickly you are going to have to price it aggressively.

    Otherwise hold onto it for another year.

    there are loads of these to be had, and a car in this size depreciates quickly..
    €26,500 - €27,000 and you would be doing well..... the mileage is not that low, average enough these days.

    VW dont really hold their value that well.. as of late their reliability has gone to ****e.
