    Bird Atlas 2007-11 now underway: every record counts - even yours!

    Thursday 1st November sees the start of the biggest ever bird survey to hit Ireland. BirdWatch Ireland is mobilising its 14,000 members to undertake a stock-take of Ireland’s birds – the first such operation for nearly twenty years. The aim is to understand how recent changes to our climate and habitats are affecting Ireland’s birds, and we need you to submit your bird records at www.birdatlas.net.
