Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all.

I've decided to treat myself to a new toy so I'd appreciate some recommendations.

    What I need:
    - Ultra portable (well moreso than a full size laptop)
    - Wireless enabled
    - Ideally Windows based
    - USB port (for connection to a 3G modem)
    - Decent battery life.

It doesn't have to be the latest and greatest. All I want really is email (outlook support if possible), internet, msn/windows messenger, and Word/Excel.

Any ideas on where to start and what kind of prices? Ta!

Have you seen the HTC Kaiser?

It's a PDA/Smartphone running Windows Mobile 6, but it has 3G built in, so no need for the external modem. It ticks all your other boxes too.
