    Hi

    I am going to apply for the Green Card Lottery 2009. I am just wondering if this may affect me getting the J1 Work and Travel visa for summer 2008?

    I had a J1 work and travel visa for summer 2007.

    hey, just out of interest how are you applying for the greencard lottery? is it through the offical site?
    i have been thinking of applying also and was just wondering how you are going about it.

    i dont think it would cause a problem, just dont mention it to them at the j1 interview that you have applyed, they might think you plan on staying on after your visa.
