Before the anticipated kickback yes I did post another thread earlier about a Nissan Quashqai ( to make up I will also post a thread to get everybody free Guinness!). Want to change the car in new year. One option os the aforementioned Quashqai but the other is bringing in an Audi A4 from the North. Does anybody know any reputable dealers there? ie. verfied mileage and history.. good after sales etc.

Have a look on www.audi.co.uk and you should be able to get a lsit of main dealers in Northern Ireland.Otherwise try www.allapprovedcars.com.I got my A4 from it (A main dealer in UK).

Get a HPI check done. Mileage accuracy is guaranteed.

There is no guarantee on exported cars, i'm afraid.

    Hi there ..

I bought an 06 A4 Avant from Isaac Agnew on the Boucher Road, Belfast in July. Its a cracking car and i have no complaints at all about the level of service i received from them. The VRT was painful, but i have a car that i couldn't buy in the south.

    Regards ...

    I had a look at their t&c's.

The only one of any relevance is:-

"The vehicle must be bought and registered in mainland Britain (i.e. it excludes Northern Ireland). If it has been imported, HPI does not guarantee its history prior to arrival in this country."

To me that means that any car bought in the mainland UK is covered. Exporting it after it's purchase is not relevant.

So a mainland UK purchase is covered, and a N.I. one isn't. Interesting.
