As in, part-time (evening and/or weekends), not much experience required etc) jobs? Most of the major job-search sites are for 'proper' jobs.

Hey OP since Christmas season is in full swing, alot of the major stores in town wil be looking for temporary/weekend and evening staff. Try looking on the websites of Dunnes, Tesco, Marks and Spensers, Next, Debenhams etc. Or it may be worthwhile that you drop your CV into a few place. Best of luck.

I couldn't find a Recruitment section on the Tesco.ie website
Irritatingly, I'll be going home or xmas break...
Do you think it's worth dropping CVs into bars/pubs/etc even if there's not 'Staff Wanted' signs up?

Yes. Esp the busy student ones. If you have the figure. wear something "tight" when handing in the CV, as the CV will get passed on, and also you'll probably have noticed alot of the lounge people in certain pubs are always women.
