Moving CC to other company, how to?

I have a credit card I wish to move to get no interest for the first 6 months, this still possible? I see all the ads on the telly. I've never done this before, is it much hassle, what should I do ?

Contact your new provider of choice, get card, do balance transfer, close old account and get letter confirming you've paid the stamp duty on your card to pass on to new provider. Not too complex really.
