Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Fair Play to Meteor

I just posted about my girlfriend losing her phone here on After Hours. We had to get the sim blocked and a new one for the spare phone that was lying around.
I was fully expecting to pay for this service but I was nicely surprised when I was told there was no charge. I know some of you will say that it's just good customer service but we lost the phone ourselves and while I'm BillPay she's Pay As You Go and I had fully expected to pay for a new sim, which incidently came with €5 credit.

So fair play to them. I reckon I'll have to fire them off an email or I might get some hand writing practice in and fire them off a quick note!

It's nice when companys do what they can to hang on to you. It is pretty standard across the networks though.

    Fiver credit though? nice :)

My phone was stolen in February 2006 and they charged me €7.50 for a new SIM.
