Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hey, Looking for good tips on how to layer?

Some can pull it off so well, while others just look like they have their entire wardrobe on!!

Like the other day I saw a girl with like 5 tops on a dress and jeans!!

    Baglady!!!

    So any tips?

Stop when you hit 3 layers. Anything else looks like you're about to hit the artic circle for a spot of trekking.
Go for thin/fine guage clothes, too many chunky layers will make you look like the michelin man. One chunky layer at most with fine guage layers underneath.

Best way to layer is to not have a lot of every single one of the layers on show - ie only a little bit visible of hem/straps/neckline under another layer.

What kind of look are you trying to achieve? any pics for a suggestion of what you're going for? Are you going for snug winter look, or hippy bohemian wild layering, or what?

Layering is simple enough in theory to pull it off without looking like you're wearing everything in your wardrobe.

Layer lightweight skirts and dresses over jeans. Works best over skinny jeans and with skirts that aren’t too full or long (around knee-length).
Layer funky t-shirts over long-sleeve white (or other solid) T-shirts. Or wear t-shirts over shirts or blouses.

Just experiment with it and be yourself.

I love layering. Love the whole vest, top, sweater, necklace, scarf, jacket thing. Pile it on girls! The weather is cold - it's practical.

Love to layer!! especially with the cold weather coming in!

I usually wear short sleeves over long sleeves, cardigans, dresses or skirts over jeans or leggings!!

    Things like that.

    Be creative
