Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I heard this last night. Crying shame. I remember sitting down when I was younger and been shown videos of Italian footie and the great milan sides. The golden trio they callled the Grenoli. Gunnar Gren, the bison Grunnar Nordhal and the legend who later when on to manage them, Nils Liedholm.

    Sad day for football.

    Never got to see him play do remember him managing in the early 90's
    That was a great Swedish side he was in pity about the ban they had on players playing abroad they could have won a WC with that squad got to the final in 1958 with thier star players in thier late 30's and come 3rd in 1950 with a number of players ruled out because they played abroad.
    Granted they came 3rd in 1994 as well but the 50's team contained 2 of the top 10 greatest scores in Italian football history and Nils Liedholm of course.
