lcd screen+connections for ps3

im looking to buy an LCD HD 22 or 23'' screeen to use with my ps3. Now, i want to use it with my pc also. Is it possible to get a connection that comes from pc to fit hd lcd to allow me to use it? Dont know much about this. I want to use the same screen for both. I have seen dixons have 19'' for sale for use for both, but thats too small.
Someone said to me there might be problem with refresh rates and something about pc monitor runs at 60hz and lcd runs at 100hz. this could also cause problems?
Could anyone help me, or recomend what to do, or even suggest a screen if they know one?

That thing about 100hz is a load of bull****. I play my ps3 on a 19" samsung monitor.i also use it for sky and its perfect. These two seem good

The difference is that the top one would be a monitor functioning as a tv and vice-versa with the bottom one
