Faulty Beep Box in Edit Profile

Got a message... if you leave it ...blank, even though... ...when I was trying to change my profile. 0000000000 or 1234567890 doesn't work, but it accepted 0870000000 Just thought it odd that I had to fill in for an "optional" field. Using Firefox 2.0.0.9, btw.
