Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

think all the bargains dry up around this time of year .. I bought a core 2 duo, 1GB RAM, 320GB HD AND a 19" LCD for €396 ( includes VAT and delivery ) during the summer .. have been looking for a similar (dell only) deal lately to no avail.

I believe inode is looking for a build that includes a monitor, mupperkiller.

I think there's a way to get XP instead of Vista on any dell machine... used to be able to add "XP" to the end of the e-value code but doesn't seem to work with Squall's code.

Hey op, the deals are getting scarce these days but managed to buy a decent one the other day:

go to www.dell.ie/epp and enter the e-value code 999-D11V210 and it should give you a Dell Vostro MT200, seems like a good machine. Reduce to base warranty and change to XP and you have a machine with 1gb RAM and 17" monitor!!!

and it comes to €397.59!!

Some Dell machines can now only be purchased with Vista I got muppetkiller's spec Inspiron in October for €224 delivered there was no possibility to spec XP, I even rang Dell customer (no)service to check....
