I've been with my unit now for about a year now and I really want to switch, problem is that i've only been issued some of my uniform.

How would I go about switching and will there be much of a problem trying to get the rest of my uniform when i'm with another unit with my old clothing form??

    Thanks

Apply to your commanding officer, through your CS or Admin officer for the transfer, stating your reasons. There's no reason why you should inform your cpl's or sgt's.

Your clothing form should follow you to your new unit.

Ask your cadre staff for a 'transfer applicatin form' - and get the necessary details etc ... I had to do transfer to another unit when I moved down to college. (artillery to infantry)

Worked out fine in the end - no problems with kit or re-issuing. And have my first training with the new unit tomorrow night.

Would anyone have a list of where different Infantry units are based in Dublin?
Are they only in the main barracks in Dublin?

    Thanks
