Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I am replacing my dvd player every year/2 years. I've bought Philips, Mitsubishi, aldi and lidl. The same problem happens - the dvd just grinds to a halt with a still picture and no sound. I am backing up dvds with Anydvd and Clonedvd and the problem has started with these copied dvds on a two week old aldi dvd player again. There is no problem at the moment with original dvds but the problem starts with original disks eventually.

    When I view a CD with jpegs on any compatible dvd player I've tried they usually grind to a halt after a few photos.

    Is this a memory problem? mechanical drive? any suggestions welcomed.
