    ya think its goin out the carlow road near the new mart, 2 ice skating rings 12 indoor hurling/soccer pitches climbing walls and cinema. think the council have to rezone the land for it to go ahead so prob wont, knowing whatthe council is like :mad:

    the ring road should have been completed 20 years ago. some what or another I recjkon i'll be dead by the time they do that.....

    This was the last official line ages ago but nothing since. The rumour i heard was that the council had rejected the proposals after the local people had but in a complaint. Not sure how true this was but if someone in Kilkenny could do a little digging it would be much very helpful.

    On another note, it's great to see the Kilkenny storm playing in the Irish Ice Hockey Developement league. It takes some dedication to to make the travelling to Dundalk at least twice a week. Good luck to them and i hope that the kilkenny people will get behind them and support them, especially if they enter the A League next year.

    Why would people object! It would be great for the area :confused:

    for people interested go to you tube and type in Dundalk ice hockey and have a look at some of the games in Louth
