How do you update your Nvidia graphics drivers?

Ok just a quick question. How should I be updating my nvidia drivers. I'm a compulsive updater and just want to be sure i'm doing it right each time new beta drivers are released

I usually just uninstall the old ones, uninstall ntune, reboot, then install the new ones and reinstall ntune.

Question, do I need to uninstall ntune? Is there any other steps I need to take to fully remove the old drivers (i.e. delete the relevant folder in C:\NVIDIA, delete some registry values)

I used to use Driver Cleaner but it doesn't seem to work correctly in Vista.

Also on my machine that has an nvidia chipset do I also need to uninstall the motherboard drivers and reinstall them?
