AAaarghh! I'm so jealous! I'd nearly go into town just so I can stand near the RDS and listen in! Have to make to with the MP3 and You-Tube til then! Have to say, I've been to a LOT of gigs in my life but I don't think I've ever been sooo exited about one before! Man is an absolute legend!

Well he played it tonight so I don't know really. There's been a few old gems rolled out over the past two nights by the sounds of it. Really hope he does play it tomorrow!

I can hear American Land now! I can hear him shouting "Dublin, Dublin!" Brilliant!!

Unbelievably, this show was way better than Thursday. More energy, more bang, more rockers. I am stunned - this even tops the 1988 show at the RDS.

To anyone wondering about the pit, I was in at about half five, but a couple of mates of mine still got in near to seven! There's enough room to sit down and stuff early on, and it is SOOOOOOOOO worth it to get up front!!!

That certainly bodes well for Sunday! :D

Brillant Gig, energy was amazing. Way better then Thursday night.

Encore was unreal!!! The pure energy in it.

Only bad moment was when U2 were spotted...I'm a very big U2 fan, but the amount of people who just turned and started pointing during Darlington County(one of my fav's) was ridicilous. I'll always think of that moment during the middle of Darlington county now!

Bruce and The E-Street band are just incredible!

We had tickets for Thursday and we're also going Sunday.
2 of my brothers and my sister went to Thursdays gig, right up front. My brothers a huge fan and was going nuts when it kicked off. After the opening song 'Promised Land' Bruce handed him his harmonica:eek:

So, tonight myself and the same brother are sitting in the kitchen at 7.30 after work and at a loose end because we both had plans that were cancelled. We live in Dundrum so decide, **** it lets jump on the bikes and boot down to RDS and try get a couple of tickets. Flew down in 15 mins and no sooner had we locked the bikes right outside I got myself a standing ticket for €50. 2 mins later and we got a 2nd ticket for €50 also:D
In we go and worm our way towards pit entrance and lo and behold I know one of the chaps stewarding who ushers us in without a fuss:pac:

The band come on stage 15 mins later and what a stunning concert it was...a perfect night really

    Roll on Sunday.....BRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCE!!!

thursday was so damn good - good weather on Friday went again, friday was probably one of the best rock events ever heard on this island, what a man, what a band, heart and soul - no one or band to touch these guys, :)

He will though, won't he? Its been on all the other set lists.... Have to say, I'm
a Bruce virgin, never seen him live before, sounds like I won't be disappointed judging by what everyone else has been saying, am I right? :D

born to run was the peak friday night, no thunder road..sadly, ah 1981...tempus fugit

thurs he did a reworking of the river that was stunning, ended in an long animal howl of pain, but thursday night was a bit like that, he didnt risk that friday and stayed away from the river, and also as the jet lag had cleared he stayed away from melancholy observations about '8 years of bad magic' on Capital hill, I reckon the rds is a perfect size for the e street band....

    What a gig last night!

My 4th time seeing bruce and definitely the best. The energy that man has is amazing!

Clarence getting on a bit but still able to blast out some great sax solos. Nils giving it socks for a solo at the end of Prove It All Night. Steve was his usual great self.

Got in just before 7 and managed to sneak into the front bit near the stage. Couldve got closer to the madness at the front but was still in the thick of it.

    BEST.... ENCORE....EVER :D

    BRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCE

Heh, I haven't been to the gigs, but I live in Ranelagh and have heard both of them from my apartment pretty clearly. He's played it both nights. The sound and the crowd both sounded amazing from my place so I'd say being there was amazing.

I went last night (Friday). What a show! Probably the best performer I've seen live. The only drawback was he didn't do Thunder Road which is just about my favourite Boss track. I think I'll head up again tomorrow night.

Going to see Bruce tomorrow night.:D:D:D

Is the absence of Dan Frederici (RIP) noticeable?

An absolutely amazing gig! They put so much energy into each song! The band are just so tight together, big set list, no stage gimmicks just pure rock and roll! A lot of new bands could learn a lot from Brucie and co!

Only regret was that we were in the grandstand, for anyone going on Sunday night defo recommend to get on the pitch and get up close!

Hey, small chance but does anyone have a standing ticket for Sunday?

You'll get one if you head to the RDS on the day. Also, I wouldn't worry about making sure it's for the pitch. We had seats for Thursday and just had to go in a certain gate but after that we went to the pitch with no hassle whatsoever. You may have some difficulty getting into the pit, that's all.

Got my tickets about a week ago. Saw in the Bargain Alerts section that more tickets had gone on sale.

Wasn't a big fan before hand. Had heard that Bruce puts on a good show...

Wow! Amazing. Great show! Bruce, what a showman! Clarence is a legend too. Some amazing sax work. Fantastically tight band. The tightest band I'd seen before this were James Brown's Soul Generals. The E Street Band blew them out of the water. Stunning. The energy throughout was amazing. I was still buzzing this morning.

He has a fan for life in me now. Can't wait to see him again. If I didn't have exams to study for I'd probably head again on Sunday.

LMAO earplugs you should be enjoying it ffs

It sounds crazy not to enjoy Springsteen, but when it's forced on you it becomes just like the neighbour's barbecue going on into the wee hours when you want to sleep!

It's a pity you can't enjoy it, and a shame that your work's affected - only another 40 mins or so....if Thursday's (excellent!) gig was anything to go by.

was there on friday and went down for a walk tonight to stand outside. two crazy cats were coming out and gave us their tickets. Got in and managed to get right up beside the stage! :D

The encore was fantastic again. Normally finishes with American Land but went on to play 2 more tunes and finished around 22:55.

As always, an action packed performance. Superb!

Agree with all of the above......amazing stuff. Was certainly worth getting there early to get into the pit.

Too many highlights to point out any one. Energy levels are limitless.

Hopefully, hopefully this is not the last time he plays here with the E-Street band.
