I met two on the 1st Nov.

Not great around here ( Dublin / Kildare ) for woodcock unless the weather becomes really hardy.

In Kerry, where I am originally from, there was always a good supply of woodcock, brilliant sport when hardy winters arrived.

The dogs put 2 up last Sunday, down here in Cork.

Did I have the gun with me? Of course not, that would be too clever of me by far.
