Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just a quick question, which is most likely already answered.

I want to purchase an iPhone up North but is it the same procedure as in the US, were you go into an apple store or a vendor and then activate the phone at a later stage when you get home or is it a case of signing a contract first with the Network Provider before you can purchase the phone ?

    Thanks :)

You have to sign a contract. I think it's £35 a month give or take.

is that a certainty? I'd heard that you buy the phone, go home and activate it on itunes then choose your tarrif.

No,it's done the way they sell it in america(activate it in itunes). On the iphone thread someone just went to newry and they give them out over the counter without signing ANY contract. If you look at the apple site there is a guide for how to activate it at HOME;http://www.apple.com/uk/iphone/gettingstarted/activation.html
