Hi just wondering how much higher would i need to put my motor up my pole mount to get 39e & 42e? My house is in the way past 36e. I have about 10cms left on the pole plus about 4cm on the motor. I dont want to start moving my motor on the pole if its not going to work as i get spot on arcing from 30w to 36e and dont want to mess it up.

The drop from 36E to 42E is about the same as from 1W to 23.5E (as you go further east, the drop gets steeper as you may have noticed). I imagine here's probably a very good chance with 14cm.

it might not be a height issue, if your motor is incorrectly installed you will not see the outer sats i.e. you may be following the wrong arc, i,ve seen it many times

    Hi.
I know its great to get the maximum use with a motor, Like I can go something like 60Eto60W but I rearly if never go beyound 30Eto30W.
ie Astra28E to Hispa30W and usual its 28E 19E 13E, unless there is somthing specific I would be happy with what you have. But I know its always just to achieve getting that extra sat in.

    I suppose as you know:
    > A good clear south view with maxium clear view East and West.
    > An absolutly perfect vertical pole 360 degrees.
    > As high as you can but with some shelter.

    Best of Luck
