Help with Plastering

    Hope somebody with some knowledge of plastering can help.
    It's a bit of a strange scenario but i'm trying to find out if it is possible to put a skim coat on a fibreglass ceiling?
    I would presume that it could be done with some form of preparation to the finished surface, but i don't want to wade into it until I have some advice.
