Printed off the form within about 10 mins of it being put up, never got around to filling it in.
I'll send it off tomorrow, unless there'll be someone at HRTA on saturday to collect them?

I've submitted my application form and I did not like the
fact that I needed a copy of an ID but I sent in a copy
of my passport to total strangers all the same.

+1 for me too. Though I also did the same, if it helps us with the current image problem and placates the authorities, media and law enforcement then that's ideal. Self regulation is better than enforced regualtion !

Oh, and just as a query, what do we get by joining the IAA? Since it's voluntary and free at this stage I'm just curious. I'd have no objection paying 10 or 50 Euro to get an photo membership card and access to a members only site or something like that. IAA arranged skirmishes ETC. I'll even put myself forward to foot the bill for designing, hosting and maintaining a members only forum / site.

This year you get a letter of aknowledgement (which will be sent out soon).

Next year we will be organising IAA membership cards (although considering the trouble we have had getting people to sign up I get the impression that ID Cards will wind up costing a fortune because we cant get enough together for a bulk order).

The new website, amongst other things, will eventually have a members only section.

IFF patches, marshall and first aid training as well as a few other surprises are all in the works.
