We're delighted to be doing a night in one of Dublin finest clubs, Kennedys. The line up is Keith Tenniswood doing a Radioactive Man live set, and our all time favourite DJ, Rob Hall. Hopefully this will be the first of many nights we do in Kennedys

    RADIOACTIVE MAN

Radioactive Man (aka Keith Tenniswood) began his musical career, aged nine, when his father thrust a guitar in his hand. Destiny also took charge when he met up with Andrew Weatherall and The Sabres Of Paradise at night-clubs like 'The Drum Club', 'Full Circle' and 'Sabresonic' and began working with Weatherall manipulating sound on the Sabres tour.

Having been an integral part in the Weatherall studio set up since, it seemed a natural step that upon the demise of Sabres, Weatherall and Tenniswood should arise from the debris and form their own production team, the Two Lone Swordsmen.

In 1996 they released their first album together as the Swordsmen, entitled 'The Fifth Mission-Return To The Flightpath Estate' on Weatherall's own Emissions imprint. They have since recorded for Warp Records.

Outside of the Two Lone Swordsmen, Tenniswood leant his talents to David Holmes 'Lets Get Killed' album and has also worked with The Aloof and Red Snapper.

He released his debut album also titled "Radioactive Man" on Weatherall's new label, Rotters Golf Club, in September 2001. The album received many plaudits (amongst them, "One of the UK's most underrated DJ/producers") and established him as a producer in his own right, disassociating him from the 2 Lone Swordsman moniker he previously carried.

After having been ensconced in the studio with Weatherall for the last nine months, working on new tracks, smoking spliff and then thinking of titles, the result has been the eagerly anticipated follow up album "Booby Trap" released on May 2003. He successfully debuted live 2 years ago at Sonar Festival in Barcelona and has toured Europe twice with RGC Records.

Tenniswood fills his weekends by playing records in nightclubs. He can be found DJing in the UK and overseas most weekends, and still finds the time to work on his own label Control Tower which he set-up with The Dexorcist and Royston.

    ROB HALL

Rob began his career at techno night Megatripolis held weekly at the legendary London venue Heaven. His first of many appearances there was with Autechre in the summer of 1992. Rob Hall's connection to Autechre is long established, and indeed Autechre have been his most valued friends and biggest supporters. He has played support DJ on most of the highly successful Warp duo's tours over the last 12 years.

Rob has also contributed to numerous productions, remixes and live sets as part of the Gescom project, a collective that includes a diverse range of producers, including Autechre and Mego artist Russell Haswell, to Skam Records' Andy Maddocks, Bola, and Mike Williamson. Many DJ's and Producers cite the work of Autechre and Gescom as being highly inspirational on their work, including Radiohead, LFO, Surgeon, Coil, Oscar Mulero, Mark Broom and Exium.

Since 1995 Rob has promoted and been resident DJ at numerous club events in his home city of Manchester, bringing artists like Aphex Twin, Plaid, Boards of Canada, Altern 8, Matthew Herbert, Team Doyobi, Mike Dred, Freeform, Req, Squarepusher, Ceephax Acid Crew and Berlin's Pole to play in there, often for the first time. From 1995 to 2006, he also worked closely with Andy Maddocks and Ged O'Hara running the highly revered and respected Skam Recordings label, releasing music from artists including Gescom, Bola, Shadowhuntaz and Boards of Canada.
