Taking extra credits?

Does anyone know if its possible to take extra credits? I've heard people saying you can take up to 70 credits in any one year, apparently you'd count your best 12 modules including your core subjects. Has anyone done this? I've searched the website but its not mentioned anywhere.

To the best on my knowledge, if you take anymore than 60 credits you pay for the additional modules.

That's true, you do pay for any extra credits over 60. I think it's on the registrar's website somewhere, or just call the student desk.
