I dont think so, as the mobo webpage states 16gb Max DDR2 @ 800mhz speed, but the memory link states the sticks are rated @ 1066mhz.
I could be wrong though but thats what I understood from it.

i wouldn't trust those komplett specs, i have the same ram on this motherboard, http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.aspx?sku=329099 , but komplett specs say they are also not compatible.

Yes, no problem. You only need a 1066mhz fsb to support the Qx6700, so any board supporting quads will be fine. The Qx6850 needs 1333mhz.

As for what board to recommend, to be honest I'm not sure what m-atx ones support 1066mhz ram myself, not a feature I look for personally when I'm consider space saving builds. I'm sure someone else can fill us in.

Other then if you really have money to burn, is 1066mhz ram and QX necessary? What's wrong with a Q6600 and 800mhz ram? You'll only really get the value out of the higher stuff if you're overclocking...

EDIT: The board you linked to supports 1066mhz ram, it says it right there in the specs

yeah re-read the specs. guess i missed it somehow.

ive already bought the qx6700 and the ram and honestly im looking at clocking the shíte out of it.

The motherboards that you picked raise a question. Are you looking for onboard graphics?

Onboard Graphics: get a G33 chipset mobo.
    Single Card : get a P35 mobo.
Dual Cards (SLI) : get an nvidia 680i mobo.

Post an answer and i'll take a look for a decent M-ATX example

    no m-atx mobo supports sli.
so i cant get the nvidia 680i mobo.

not looking at using onboard graphics either
probably going to use 8800gtx or something in it.

quite right. whoops. no p35 boards in mATX either. i'd say your original choice is looking better and better by the minute :)
