    Hi All

I was in NEXT at the weekend looking at some furniture - which is very nice.

The price of a nest of tables was 225.00. I said I would take one and was then told it could only be delivered, at a further cost of 45.00, as they do not stock them in the shop and do not take deliveries to the shop. I think they come form England.

So, in fact the real price of the tables is 270.00 as I would have no other option but to accept the delivery charge if I wanted them. Is this pricing poilcy OK. The price of delivery was not displayed anywhere.

    Many thanks

    reference: next.co.uk

Delivery charges for selected large home items are £3.75 within mainland UK, (Northern Ireland £20, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Scottish Islands, Scilly Islands £35. Other offshore islands £35). With the exception of BFPO addresses we do not deliver outside the United Kingdom.

    Hi FindingNemo

I understand that there are delivery charges where goods are delivered.

My point is that I can only get these tables by paying 270.00, not 225.00 as it says on the sales ticket.

    Hi,

    I know what you mean.

They should show a separate price for the delivery or say 270 including delivery. It's abit like showing some technology prices ex. VAT and they don't tell you it's ex VAT till you go to the counter. Very frustrating
