Linux required for this router?

    Friend wants to buy this wireless router (Don't ask my why). He's just confused a little. On the bottom is says:

    Software / System Requirements
    OS Provided Linux

    Does this mean that there's a Linux based OS installed on the router?

    Yes, linux based OS on the router, this does not affect his client requirements.

    Decent enough router as well.
