    Hi Folks,
How do I change the background colour of a page in InDesign?
I'm just looking to use a solid black to place graphics on top.

    Cheers,
    Steve.

    Hi oriel,
there's no page background as such in pro layout apps.

If it's a one page document just throw in an image box and colour appropriately.

If it's a multipage document and you're using the same colour flood on all pages - apply the image box to the master page.

I'm used to html! Currently having a self-taught crash course in InDesign.

    Cheers,
    Steve.

do you mean from the software end or the design end?

www.indesignsecrets.com is full of useful tips

www.vtc.com is good for the basic 'how to' stuff
... first dozen (basic) tutorials are free.
