    Hi All

I have an internal cast iron window that use to be external before the house was extended. I have cut out the cast iron parts and glass leaving just cast iron frame clean and intact.

What would you recommend to fix the glass in with - standard clear silicon or something better? the seem to have been some form of putty used in the old glass attached to the frame (house was built in the ealry 60's) but thought putty was only used in wooden frames.

    Thanks

    Redman
