According to the Times two suspect devices are being removed from Fairview Park, for such a pleasant park a lot of crap happens. Does anyone know what the story is, is it another attack on the Russell statue or something more sinister.

Two suspect devices have been found in Fairview Park in Dublin.

The devices, which appear to be viable, are currently being examined by members of the Army Explosive Ordinance Disposal Team.

A man out walking his dog saw the devices in bushes in the park at around 8am and a bomb disposal unit was sent to the scene.

A section of the park along the Malahide Road as far as Edges Corner has now been closed.

There are no traffic disruptions at this time.

Gardaí are appealing for anybody who saw any unusual activity in the Fairview Park area to contact them at Clontarf Garda Station.

I wonder if it's anything at all.
