Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hey just wondering if anyone can offer any advice with this problem.

I have an eircom broadband connection with a netopia wireless router, using airport to connect to it on a mac.

I can connect no probs but within 30 mins-1 hour of connecting i can't load any pages. Airport still says im connected but nothing loads. If i turn Airport off and on again i can connect again no probs. its just very annoying having to do this every half hour or so.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks

Try assigning your computer a static IP address or change the DHCP renewal time on the Netopia router. The option to do the latter is under http://192.168.1.254 [unless you changed the IP address]. Not using this router but I think it's under the Expert configuration menu.

check your router's log to see if somebody doing syn flood to you.
open the default firewall filter policy on your router.
